Habitat Conservation Plan Signing Photo Album
Gov. Gregoire and Commissioner of Public Lands Doug Sutherland received approval from federal government for the largest and most thorough Habitat Conservation Plan in the nation. The federal services stated that "you have done your fair share" by developing a long-term conservation plan to protect fish and water quality on 9.3 million acres of state and private forestland, covering more than 60,000 miles of streams.
