Environmental Education
This program works with schools and communities to establish, maintain and enhance long-term education programs that teach youth to use critical and creative thinking to make wise decisions about forestry in the state of Washington. Program efforts are strategically directed toward education policy leaders and decision-makers to implement a statewide, systematic approach to integrating forest and environment-related knowledge into the education system. This program is supported by the Environmental Education Committee -- comprised of member company individuals with an interest or background in environmental education. This committee provides strategic planning and guidance toward achieving these program goals.
