Coyote: This four-legged creature, similar in size to a large dog, hunts rodents and ground birds on the forest floor. The

coyote lives in a cave or den that it has dug into the ground. Pups, born in April or May, are as big when six months old as

their parents and can hunt on their own. This animal often hunts with other coyotes, using teamwork.
